Lutosa runs 2 production sites in Belgium (Leuze-en-Hainaut and St-Eloois-Vijve) and employs 665 people. In 2008, Lutosa processed 680.000 tons of potatoes and 340.969 tons of finished products were sold, which represents a growth of 15% in comparison with year 2007. Its 2008 turnover amounted to 218.852.000 €.

Currently, we have:
1. For on-site potato storage:
nine silos with a total capacity of 100,000 tonnes. This allows us to stock a portion of our potato requirements under optimum storage conditions (automatically controlled temperature and air-conditioning).
2. For production:
- 5 production lines for pre-fried French fries (frozen + chilled) with a total capacity of 54 tonnes/hour of finished products;
- 9 drying cylinders with a total capacity of 3.5 tonnes/hour of potato flakes;
- 5 production lines for frozen potato specialities with a total capacity of 6.5 tonnes/hour of finished products.
3. For storing finished products:
11 cold rooms, 2 of them fully automated, where 83,000 pallets of frozen products can be stored.
