The potatoes have been planted, now all that's left is to...

In early April, the seed potatoes arrive at Lutosa, coming chiefly from the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Hugo Morelle and Géric Beaumont have meticulously checked them for size and quality. Because of particularly wet weather in mid-March, there was a two-week delay in the planting of the early or new potatoes, moving them up closer to the planting of ware potatoes, which was finished in early May. The early potatoes will be harvested in 3 months, in July and the ware potatoes will be harvested in 5 months, in September.

A good plant produces between 1.5 kg and 2 kg of potatoes, which corresponds to 750g to 1 kg of French fries.
